Incredible Minds Health services will operate on Christmas Eve from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Our office will be closed on December 25th and 26th. We will resume regular hours on December 29th and 30th from 8:00am to 5:00pm. On New Year's Eve, December 31st will be open from 8:00am to 1:00pm. We will be closed New Years Day.

Good Afternoon! We hope you are having an awesome week so far! 😎

Here is a simple breathing exercise to help people, especially the little ones, calm down.

Step 1: Inhale like smelling a flower: Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose. Imagine the sweet scent of a flower filling your lungs.
Step 2: Exhale like blowing out a candle: Purse your lips slightly and breathe out slowly through your mouth, as if gently blowing out a candle flame.

Repeat: Continue this pattern a few times to help your body and mind relax.

Calming: It can help a person feel more calm and relaxed.

Emotional regulation: It is a tool to help manage strong feelings like anger or frustration.

Improved focus: It can help improve focus and clear the mind.
Mind-body connection: It builds awareness of the body's physical sensations.

Here at 🧠 Incredible Minds Health Services 🧠 use a fun Computer game called the QbTest to test our patients for ADHD. We use this for patients ages 6-21. This test involes a 15-20 minute computer-based test that measures attention and impulsivity, together with motion tracking with one millimetre accuracy to aid in symptom evaluation. Results are instantly generated.

This Test Detects:

ATTENTION: Patients follow an attention-based task on the computer screen and press a responder button every time the same shape and color appear in sequence. Inattention is measured by variations in correct response time to the stimuli on the screen.

ACTIVITY: Activity is measured through a laptop camera which tracks patient’s movements. This technology can pick up on the smallest of movements with 1mm precision.

IMPULSIVITY: Impulsivity is measured by the number and speed of incorrect responses given.

This Test includes:
-A cool ninja head band! 🥷
-A remote clicker. ✨
-A motion-tracking camera. This detects movement. 📷 (Camera does not record patients at any time)
