Thank you to everyone who voted and campaigned for the Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach in the past 11 days of voting for the Walmart Holiday Pantry Makeover. The voting period has officially concluded and the unofficial results are in. STC finished in 26th place out of 170 organizations nationwide with 1,726 votes. An official release will be made by Walmart on Monday to announce the winners. We will share that information here as soon as we receive it. Thank you again for all your support!

The Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach provides assistance to more than 5,400 people infected and affected by HIV and more than 800 of those are children. How many clients do you think Saint Therese Center serves on a daily basis? The answer, which may surprise you, will be posted tomorrow.

The World Health Organization estimates that more than 39 million people with AIDS have died since the epidemic began and that 35 million are currently living with AIDS. More than three million children are infected with HIV/AIDS. Please share this post in honor of those you know living with HIV/AIDS and in memory of all the loved ones you have lost to HIV/AIDS.

St. Therese Center, named after Saint Therese of Lisieux, is a Catholic ministry that welcomes and serves people of all faiths and extends the Lord's healing to all persons infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

Saint Therese Center HIV Outreach breaks into top-75 with 200+ votes on Monday! Great job to everyone who voted and encouraged their friends to vote. All the shares, likes, and passing on the word is finally proving to be fruitful! Please keep it up, as the competition is only going to get tougher in the final days. Saint Therese of Lisieux teaches us to do ordinary things with extraordinary love. A smile, a note of encouragement, a phone call, always having a positive word, a simple unnoticed task to brighten the life of another, and so many other simple deeds, done with love. She called this her “little way.” The smallest action, done with love, is more important than great deeds done for personal glory. She said, “After my death, I will let fall a shower of roses. I will spend my heaven doing good on earth.” Help us shower the earth with roses and exemplify her “little way” by sharing this rose with your friends and family.

Just a quick note to share a little good news in regards to the voting. Today marks the first day that we made headway in the voting. This morning we were about 200 votes shy of the cutoff at the time. Tonight, we have 411 votes and 75th place currently has 520 votes. We're still 109 votes behind, but we're making progress.
