My reality check was on January, 14, 2017 when my doctor asked me if he was suicidal. From that point on life changed and the process was just beginning. Dealing with mental health issues is not something that can be done alone. I know that the journey to a better and happier life involves support from family and friends. I have learned how to deal with the roller coaster of life. He continues to
learn about suicidal ideation and suicide prevention. I founded req therapy barbeque for mental health in March 2021. We provide education on mental health to the community, Service Members, Veterans and Families (SMVF). Works with local and national agencies to provide accurate mental health resources. Bring the community together through BBQ events.
