At The Healing Journey, we provide individual, family & marriage counseling to children, adolescents & adults. We offer weekday and weekend appointments!

We utilize various approaches to counseling and work hard to meet clients where they are financially.

Ft Morgan, Alabama- - the home of THJ’s 1st ever work getaway!! ☀️✈️🏖️

More pics to come, but these moments we caught at sunset will forever be some of my favorites…being asked for a photo by each of these ladies, well, it was overwhelming. The mutual respect and love we share for each other can’t really be put into words, but it is felt and it is real.

Each of these ladies have joined THJ since its birth in 2020…and have helped build it into what it is today. It is a team effort and I wouldn’t want it any other way! This is about all of them & their work just as much as it is about me & my dream.

One of the things I love most about our group is that we have been able to build a team that can meet almost any therapeutic need!! 🤓😎🙌🏻

With the addition of Ally Wallace, we are now able to better assist those clients who are facing specific phobias!! Ally has specialized training in Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), as well as EMDR, CBT and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)- all of which are helpful when treating OCD, anxiety disorders, panic disorders, phobias, and depression.

Ally works with children as young as age 9 and adults across the full lifespan. She is now offering in-person appointments in East Nashville along with virtual sessions upon request.

Session rate: $165/session

As well as various other non-related topics, including anxiety, life transitions, family dynamics, women’s issues, improving communication and sense of self.

Michelle offers telehealth sessions and will now be offering in-person sessions in Hendersonville!! She primarily works with individuals age 18 and above.

Session Rate- $125, with sliding scale options available

Whether it is a direct compliment to one of our staff or a compliment to our group, it always feels awesome! As counselors, many times the only way that we know that we are doing good work is to see our caseload full and our clients returning session after session.

In the same vein, one way that we know we are providing a warm, welcoming space for intern students to learn is to hear what past interns are saying about us! 💛💛

Kendall LeBeau completed her internship with us in Winter 2023 and then returned to us as a contract therapist in Spring 2024. During that time she shared her experiences with a dear friend who was pursuing his Masters Degree in counseling as well…and from that we gained one of our current interns - Eli Moran!! 🙌🏻👏🏼

Now these two families, who have known one another for years, get to participate in THJ activities together- like the Open House we hosted last week! We all love watching our THJ family grow!
