🌟 Proprioceptive Fun Indoors! 🌟
When it’s chilly outside, keep little ones active and engaged with these fun proprioceptive activities that help regulate and strengthen their bodies:
🛏️ Pillow Pile Jumps: Stack some pillows and let your child jump, climb, or crawl over them. It’s great for building strength and coordination!
🎨 Resistance Art: Use resistive materials like playdough, putty, or crayons on vertical surfaces to add extra muscle work while creating.
🐾 Animal Walks: Bear crawls, crab walks, and frog jumps are perfect for whole-body heavy work and lots of giggles.
🧱 Wall Push-Ups: Simple, effective, and perfect for getting those muscles working when space is limited.
💪 Push or Pull Activities: Have your child push a laundry basket, pull a weighted bag, or help move soft objects around the room.
These activities offer calming input, build body awareness, and keep indoor days active and fun! ❄️💙
