Did you know that using 'hand over hand' is actually a formal technique you can use with your child to elicit a sign. It helps them 'feel' how it feels to move their little hands/body in a certain way and helps solidify that sign. I tell my clients that it is like being your child's Avatar. But! Don't do it forever or it will defeat the purpose. Try it a few times at home!
