Hendersonville, you did it again!

Your support of Wreaths Across America means the world to us. Thank you to everyone who sponsored wreaths and signed up to volunteer.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped us unload wreaths from the truck last Friday (which came all the way from Maine via a driver from West Virginia), and to everyone who helped us unbox and distribute them throughout the cemetery today. We couldn't do this without you!!!!

The ceremony begins at 12:00PM tomorrow, Saturday, December 13th. We will see you all there!

We are honored to share that Shuler and Forest Lawn Funeral Homes have officially been recognized as Distinguished Kindness Workplaces through The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation Kindness at Work Program.

This certification celebrates workplaces that intentionally build a culture of compassion — showing kindness not only to the families and community we serve, but to our own team members as well.

We are weaving kindness into our everyday culture. We’ve introduced “Tag! You’re It!” cards, which are left anonymously with a small gift or inspiring message on a sticky note to brighten a team member’s day. We collaborate on meaningful ways to support our community — including the decision to create Hurricane Helene Remembrance Services.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve Western North Carolina with empathy and care — not just in our profession, but in our daily interactions with our community and our team.
