DON'T MAKE ME SAY BAD WORDS!
Sunscreen (SPF) is NOT toxic. I don't care what TikTok says, I don't care what your granny's neighbor's second cousin's coworker's goldfish says.
In large quantities, water and oxygen are toxic. I don't see too many folks avoiding that. When it comes to toxicity, dosage and method MATTER.
As an esthetician, I don't see skin damaged by sunscreen. Ever. Not once.
I see skin damaged by years of unprotected sun exposure.
Not wearing SPF at all is not the safer choice, its just the louder one online.
Wear it. Reapply it. Stop raising my blood pressure.
For my SPF loving friends, drop your favorite in the comments. I have two: La Roche Possay's Melt in Milk SPF 100 for a glowy finish, and SkinScript's Sheer Protection SPF 30.
