Congratulations to Vanessa, who recently completed her rehabilitation therapy with us after a hip replacement. 🎉

When she arrived at Life Care of Hendersonville, Vanessa was not able to talk or get in and out of bed, manage stairs or dress herself. Working with physical and occupational therapists helped her to make great gains in her mobility and ability to take care of herself. Now, she is walking, standing, and taking care of daily care tasks independently! 👏

🗨️ "When I first started therapy, I could barely stand up," Vanessa shared. "The team was there encouraging me and cheering me on. They will be there for you too!"

🎶 Our resident chorus at Life Care Center of Hendersonville is practicing for the holidays! Their first performance will be for their family and friends at Thanksgiving! 🦃

🎃 On Halloween, our residents had a full day of fun and excitement! Mr. Shelf designed his own personal Halloween costume as a pumpkin head. The party was amazing, every table full. We had great food. Thank you to our Dietary team for the party food! 🎉

We also had dancing, stories and a lot of laughs in between. After the party, we went on to pass out candy to the little creatures in the night. 🍬 The rehab department all dressed up as The Addams Family and did a fantastic job!

Pumpkin Carving Day! 🎃 We had a great time designing our own pumpkins today. One pumpkin will be used as a Halloween costume, made by one of our residents and designed to perfection (see how well it fits?)! 😉

Miss Honeycutt starting laughing, saying, "I have never carved a pumpkin." Her pumpkin has a new home by the window for everyone to see. 👍

Activity fun at Life Care Center of Hendersonville on Oct. 23, 2025! 🥧 Staff and the residents enjoyed throwing pies at the Department Heads. It was a lot of laughs and fun. 😂 No better way to sweeten the day.

Miss Honeycutt, shared, "I have never seen anyone laugh so much about getting hit in the face with a pie." 🧡
