Is it a drawn out complicated movement routine? Or is it a simplified/regressed version of the activity you’re about to do?

Two years ago, I started Bend Movement and significantly ramped up my running and training volume as a way to locally market myself.

Fast forward 3 months and I had given myself a nasty bout of Achilles tendinitis (that I sat with for a couple months before taking seriously and rehabbing it away).

Since the pain has been gone - I have made sure to keep up with my rehab. Continuing to work on my calf strength and keeping my Achilles “springy” has kept any residual symptoms and issues at bay.

What areas have YOU rehabbed previously that you’re now completely ignoring?

Ever wonder what a visit at Bend Movement looks like?

Jump into a session with a runner who has been dealing with foot pain that she is trying to sort out prior to running the Boston Marathon!

This session we worked on progressing into more challenging plyometric and strengthening exercises - not just for her foot, but on the other areas that she needs strong and reliable for race day.

You can probably spend your time more effectively than just foam rolling your IT Band.

Rolling can temporarily decrease the sensitivity of the area, but this improvement is typically short lived.

Build more strength around your hips and knee for long term improvement in resilience and comfort!
