🚒🚑💛 Honoring Those Who Serve Our Community 💛🚑🚒

This past week, we were proud to host our Quarterly First Responders Luncheon at Autumn Ridge Residences, and our hearts are full of gratitude for the heroes who joined us.

A special thank you to the Herculaneum Fire Department and JPAD Ambulance District for spending time with us and allowing us the opportunity to say thank you for the incredible service you provide to our community every single day.

Our kitchen team truly went above and beyond with a delicious meal featuring barbecue ribs, homemade fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, and fresh squeezed lemonade. 👏🍗🍖

We always enjoy welcoming our first responders into the building when it’s not an emergency—and having the chance to simply share a meal, conversation, and appreciation means so much to all of us.

We were even blessed to have enough leftovers to deliver additional lunches to the Dunklin Fire Department as a small token of thanks.

To all of our first responders: we see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for everything you do. 💛

We took our residents out for a fun lunch at Kettlehut’s Smokehouse BBQ in Crystal City, and WOW… it did not disappoint! 🤤

From fall-off-the-bone ribs to smoky pulled pork, brisket, and all the savory sides—every bite was worth it! No wonder they were voted Best of Jefferson County BBQ 2025 👏

Today’s painting activity was more than just art—it was a beautiful reminder of the love and dedication that Carla, our incredible Activity Director, brings to our residents every single day.

With so much patience, kindness, and genuine compassion, Carla takes the time to connect with each resident, encouraging them, guiding them, and making sure everyone feels confident and included. You can truly see the joy she brings—not just in the paintings, but in the smiles around the room.

She is thoughtful in everything she does and goes above and beyond to create meaningful moments for our residents. We are so lucky to have her—she is truly a blessing to our community. 💕
