After a devastating fall left this patient unable to use her left arm or leg, she chose Hermann Hospital for inpatient rehab because she’d “heard nothing but the best.”With twice‑daily Physical and Occupational Therapy and a team she describes as compassionate, gentle, kind, and always on top of it, she progressed from sliding‑board transfers to preparing to walk out with a hemi‑cane.Her words say it best:
“It’s like a cohesive family here. You feel like a person, not a number. I’d definitely choose Hermann again.”We’re honored to walk alongside our patients through every stage of recovery.

Yesterday, we marked the 14th Annual Red Heart Walk and collected $155 for the Hermann Food Pantry. Featured below are the groups who took part in the walk, despite the cold weather, to promote heart health.
The Hermann Area Ambulance District, Gasconade County Health Department and Heartland Hospice donated items for our walkers!
