So Incredibly proud of our intern Hannah! ❤️
It’s been a joy watching Hannah’s journey at Logan University. She is currently in her 3rd trimester, and seeing her dive deep into the anatomy and physiology of the heart has been inspiring. (and very appropriate being that it's American Heart Month:)
She isn't just studying for an exam; she’s connecting what she’s learning in the classroom to her own personal life, her family’s history, and her future as a doctor.
I’m so impressed and appreciative that she took the time to sit down and share her knowledge and her heart with our community. From her grandpa’s "ten extra years" to her own diagnosis at age 17, Hannah is proof that while we can’t control our genetics, we can control our consistency.
In Montgomery County, heart health hits close to home. But as Hannah reminds us: Small choices add up.
