Seasonal food is fresher, tastier and more nutritious as it hasn’t traveled so far. Pesticides, waxes and preservatives are often used to preserve foods that are out of season as vegetables start losing their nutrients straight after they're picked. So the quicker they get to your plate the better.

Keep this in mind when starting your health journey. When you start feeling like it’s taking to long, I should be feeling better by now, what’s wrong with me… a true health journey takes time, self discipline, self love, consistency, commitment and a whole lot of patience.

A true health journey requires more than a pill, a shot, a one visit and I should be good. It requires you to believe, to dig deep, to let go. Become so in tune with your body that YOU will know the “answer” and you won’t have to reach out to any other professional.

Your body knows. Listen.
