Located in Hermitage, Tennessee, Hermitage Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a trusted source of personalized outpatient care for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with opioid addiction. We provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), a dynamic approach that incorporates prescription medication and counseling. Following a thorough assessment, Hermitage CTC patients may receive a prescription for methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone. These medications, which have a documented history of safety and effectiveness for both short- and long-term use, allow patients to stop using opioids without experiencing the distressing withdrawal symptoms that would otherwise occur. In addition to taking methadone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone, adults who receive care at Hermitage CTC also participate in individual and group counseling sessions. Counseling can help patients identify and address the concerns that may have contributed to their opioid use or previously prevented them from getting help. During counseling sessions, patients can develop the skills and strategies that will empower them to resist relapse and achieve long-term recovery from opioid addiction.
