In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating amazing women in history all month! 💁♀️❣️
Women like Lina D. Odou and Hattie May Ellis Blessing helped break barriers in funeral service.👩⚕️
▪️Lina Odou founded the first embalming school for women in the U.S. in 1901.
▪️Hattie Blessing became the first licensed female embalmer in Texas in 1935.
Their courage helped pave the way for women across the profession. Today we celebrate the women who continue to serve families with compassion and care. 🫶
