Our Story
Twisted is located in Hermitage, Pennsylvania and is the areas premier fitness boutique studio. At Twisted Yoga & Barre LLC. our goal is to offer a variety of classes taught by highly trained and professional instructors that are spiritually, mentally, and physically empowering and effective. We are open 7 days a week and offer classes throughout the day and now offer virtual class options. At Twisted our Yoga classes are inspired by the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga method . Our classes offer an energetic and integrated combination of vinyasa, pranayama, and contemporized yogic principles & philosophy designed to invite and guide student yogis into a courageous journey into their physical and personal power. Our Vinyasa Flow encourages students to take risks, exceed their own expectations, practice at their personal edge of sukha/stira, or effort and grace, and to be true to their own practice, allowing internal or external judgment to fall away. The result of practicing these elements of Vinyasa Flow yoga will unfold from the mat and into the world, as students begin to tap into their own personal, authentic power, bringing more joy, love, creation, intuition, and full-expression into their lives. Our Barre Classes are an empowering, effective, athletic workout specifically designed to strengthen and lengthen the body. The class is fueled by fun, upbeat music and efficiently flows through each muscle group, creating endurance and stamina through strength training and increased flexibility through stretching. The movements are influenced by classical ballet barre methods, Pilates, yoga, and orthopedic exercises. The class is taught in a group setting, but offers personalized attention through verbal and hands-on corrections. This class is appropriate for all levels. Modifications and challenges are always offered. SMALL MOVEMENTS BIG CHANGES!!!! So come on get Twisted at the Barre!
Twisted Ride classes! These indoor cycling classes are a fun, non impact, high intensity, high calorie burning cycling workout with a Twisted “spin”. Our Twisted Ride, BarreFly and Pedal&Power classes will challenge your body like never before. Our Twist on cycling delivers a contagious and supportive energy that will challenge your physical limits and lift your mood to your most positive potential. Our ever-changing classes and one-of-a-kind technique will burn out your muscles, make your heart pump and shock your body with every workout.
We are the aeras only studio to offer STAND UP PADDLEBOARD Classes in the summer months. SUP Classes are traditional Yoga and Fitness Core classes taught on the water on floating boards. Your mat is a Stand Up Paddleboard; the world is your studio and all of the elements have been invited: Sun, Wind, Water and Earth. The continuous challenge to balance, the instant instability created by the elements and weight shifts, require complete focus so you can ground to the board while afloat. Change is the only constant in life. On the water we learn to flow and enjoy the ride. Classes are approximatly 60 minutes and we provide you with all the equipment. All you have to bring is an open mind and heart
