What a lovely surprise…Drs Jang & Vuong helped this patient (who is an ER Dr) recover from a contact lens induced corneal ulcer. He was lucky! No permanent vision loss.

Recently we had another patient almost perforate due to a fast moving infection which was entirely preventable. She came in a few days after noticing something didn’t feel right. We, along with a team of doctors were able to save her eye but she will have some permanent vision loss.

PSA: please remove your contacts daily and discard as recommended. Too often we see patients pushing the envelope with their contacts - for years - whether for convenience or to save a few dollars or to prevent waste but eventually it catches up.

As the holidays approach, your work days may be longer and maybe you are running out of contacts and don’t have time to see your doctor. Please don’t overwear your contacts! For patients of our practice, we will help you get contacts until your scheduled appointment.
