Happy Earth Day! The environment is very important to me and especially the health of our ocean. Sunday, Bren, (I’m sure you recognize her from Healthy Spot), got up early Sunday and participated in the beach clean up that was hosting. They provided buckets, gloves, sunscreen, snacks and prizes!

I have to say we didn’t see as much trash as I thought we would, way to go HB and MB, however, we did see a lot of small plastics and styrofoam. Those items maybe small, but the damage adds up and hurts our ocean and beaches. Sadly, we saw a sick sea lion and it was heartbreaking to see. On a lighter note, we saw these beautiful birds that I have never seen before.

We ending the morning with an amazing brunch and the best mocktails! Delicious!

Please recycle ♻️, reuse, reduce and start using biodegradable plates, etc. at the beach. Your future self and planet 🌎 will thank you!
