I just want to pause and say Thank You❤️

The response, the messages, the shares… it’s been overwhelming in the best way. And I don’t take that lightly.

Seeing so many people, from teens to parents, walk away from class holding their certificates, more CONFIDENT and PREPARED than when they walked in… it never gets old.

But more than that, it’s why this matters so much to me.

🚨 Over 80% of cardiac emergencies happen outside of a hospital…
most often at HOME.

That means it’s not happening in an ICU.
It’s happening in living rooms, kitchens, backyards…
with the PEOPLE you LOVE most.

That’s WHY these classes mean so much more than just a certification.

I want people to feel CONFIDENT, not helpless…
PREPARED, not panicked…
ready to step in when it matters MOST.

Only 3 showed up… but this is why I LOVE what I do 💙

Today’s class was small and intimate, just three girls.
Two homeschoolers and one from Horn Lake High… all from completely different backgrounds.

But here’s what I’ve learned…

👉 It doesn’t matter where they come from—every single one of them is CAPABLE of learning these life-saving skills.

We got HANDS ON with CPR (of course)…
but we also made it FUN 🎶

I let them pick their favorite songs (from the American Heart CPR playlist), and y’all…
that’s when it clicks.

💥 Confidence goes up
💥 Compressions get better
💥 And those TWO green lights start showing up

(If you know, you know 👏)

And can I just say… these girls were ALL SMILES AND RIGHT ANSWERS when prompted.

I kept telling them:
“Brains AND beauty!” and by the end of class, you could just see that CONFIDENCE all over them. 🥰

That’s what this is really about.

Not just CPR…
but walking away knowing:
“I can do this if it ever matters.”

And one day… it just might.

Summer babysitting season is almost here… are they ready? 👀

I already have several teens signed up for THIS Saturday’s class and I’m SO excited!!
This is honestly one of my favorite classes to teach. ❤️

The little guy in the first picture?
He was nervous when he first got there… even struggled a little with compressions at first.

But with a little coaching and encouragement — something clicked.

👉 He adjusted his form
👉 Got stronger with each round
👉 And by the end… he was confidently performing CPR and even using the AED

That right there is why I LOVE this class.

Because it’s not just about learning CPR…
It’s about building the confidence to step in when it matters most.

These are the moments I wish EVERY PARENT could see…❤️

Friday’s Teen Heartsaver CPR class went almost an hour over…
and honestly? I wouldn’t change a thing.

Because what happened in that room was MORE than just “a class.”

It was CONFIDENCE being built in real time.

❤️ The young boy in the navy shirt and red cap?
At the beginning, he didn’t even want his dad to leave.
And when we started compressions, he struggled a bit (totally normal at his size).

But we slowed down.
Worked one-on-one.
Adjusted his posture. Tweaked his form.

And then… 💥 something clicked.

He went from unsure → two green lights on the Preston manikin 🙌
AND nailed AED use like a pro.

I was SO proud of him.

💛 And the teen in the yellow shirt…
Let me tell you - she ASKED the questions.

Not random ones… the RIGHT ones.
The kind that showed she was thinking ahead, connecting the dots, and truly understanding what she was learning.

Honestly?
I wanted to look at her and say,
“Go ahead and start that nursing school application now.” 😂

THIS is WHY I do what I do.

It’s not just about CPR certification.
It’s about raising up CONFIDENT, CAPABLE TEENS who won’t freeze in an emergency.

💙The babysitter.
❤️The big sister.
💙The neighbor.

The one who steps in when it matters most.

👏 And every single one of these students showed up, learned, and walked out stronger than they came in.

Not gonna lie… this one started off a little quiet 😅

I had 5 teens in class Saturday:
❤️3 from Lewisburg
❤️2 from Hernando
❤️ And one amazing mom who decided, “If my kids are learning this… I am too.”

At first, I could tell a few of them would’ve rather been anywhere else (we’ve all been there 😂)…
but something shifted as we got into it.

By the end?
Smiles. Confidence. Questions. Real engagement. 🙌

And that’s WHY I do this.

Because it’s not just about learning CPR…
it’s about taking that moment of fear in an emergency and replacing it with,
“I know what to do.”

I also love when parents jump in alongside their kids.
It turns into more than a class—it becomes a family equipped to help when it matters most ❤️

So proud of this group 👏
