Everyone please welcome our newest (and most distinguished) team member, Sir Honks A Lot.🪿

Sir Honks A Lot will be serving as our official Door Greeter, bringing a level of professionalism, vigilance, and honk-based security we’ve been missing. He takes his job very seriously and has already proven to be a bit of a character.

⚠️ Friendly Office Policy:
Please do NOT feed or pet the goose.
He is highly trained, mildly judgmental, and operates on a strict “look, don’t touch” policy. Violators may be honked at aggressively and/or stared down.

Ethan Smitherman PMHNP-BC

Ethan is the founder and owner of Hernando Psychiatry and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior to his nursing career, Ethan served in the United States Marine Corps, an experience that shaped his dedication to service and care. He began his nursing journey in 2015 as a labor and delivery nurse and later earned his Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in psychiatry and mental health, at Frontier Nursing University.

Ethan provides comprehensive psychiatric care to patients of all ages, from children to geriatric. His passion lies in helping individuals improve their mental well-being and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. Outside of his professional life, Ethan is a devoted husband and father of three, with a love for spending time outdoors.
