We’re excited to announce that we officially have electricity at the farm!

As we celebrate with the lights on, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our incredible community and donors who made this improvement possible. This milestone not only creates safer conditions for our volunteers and students, but also opens the door to what’s next— a classroom for programs, climate-controlled spaces, and so much more. We can’t wait to share what’s ahead!

Suhani, Chloe, and Polina are kicking off the new year by mastering the 20-meter circle!
Riders focus on maintaining a steady rhythm, coordinating spacing between horses, and developing balance and bend through each turn.
This month, our Saturday riders will be breaking down key elements of a course, with the goal of confidently stringing it all together by the end of January. Stay tuned to watch the full course come to life!

Step into the magic of the season at SPIRIT’s Winter Wonderland Party! Join us for an afternoon of fun at the farm with our beautifully decorated barn, festive horses dressed in their winter best, and plenty of seasonal cheer for all ages to enjoy. Guests can create winter-themed crafts, enjoy sweet treats, and spend time with our incredible horses in a joyful, welcoming atmosphere.

Thank you to Kai and his family for sharing their SPIRIT story! Read about it below ⬇️

“We joined Spirit Open Equestrian 4 years ago, and it has been a wonderful addition to my son’s weekly routine. He goes for therapeutic riding every Saturday morning and really looks forward to seeing his horse, Coco. The volunteers are very special as well, they are so nice, welcoming and fun! Over the past several years, my son has enjoyed his sessions, and now he especially likes to trot, which is so much fun to watch. We are very grateful to Spirit for bringing joy to our whole family!”
