Pumpkin is a beloved Welsh pony mare that loves serving in our therapeutic riding programs, and is one of the most popular horses we have! Our January Horse of the Month was the lovely Luna! A 16 year old Percheron cross, she's a black and white beauty 🤩Luna is a favorite for Workshops, Veterans programs, and Therapeutic Horsemanship. Luna is looking for a sponsor for her care this year, could it be you? We are proud to care for 13 incredible equine partners, and this year we’ll be featuring a different horse each month, giving you the chance to connect with the horses and ponies that make our work possible!

The calm before the snow ❄️☀️ Horses soaking up sunshine while they can. No photos (we were busy prepping!)—but trust us, thanks to our incredible staff and volunteers, the farm and horses are ready to weather the storm!

What a great Saturday! We had some surprise snow ❄️, but still managed to get the field mucked, clean some tack 🧽, and have spectacular lessons. Thank you Emily, Christina, Ahmed, Stella, Clara, Sheryl, Hillary, Polina, Sarah, Suhani, Dan, Kaitlin, Shannon and Saira for making this program possible!

We’re excited to announce that we officially have electricity at the farm!

As we celebrate with the lights on, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our incredible community and donors who made this improvement possible. This milestone not only creates safer conditions for our volunteers and students, but also opens the door to what’s next— a classroom for programs, climate-controlled spaces, and so much more. We can’t wait to share what’s ahead!

Suhani, Chloe, and Polina are kicking off the new year by mastering the 20-meter circle!
Riders focus on maintaining a steady rhythm, coordinating spacing between horses, and developing balance and bend through each turn.
This month, our Saturday riders will be breaking down key elements of a course, with the goal of confidently stringing it all together by the end of January. Stay tuned to watch the full course come to life!
