Congratulations to SIH Herrin Hospital – Recipients of the Traveling STEMI Trophy!

We are proud to announce that SIH Herrin Hospital has been awarded the Traveling STEMI Trophy in recognition of their exceptional performance in emergency cardiac care. With an impressive ED Arrival to Departure time of just 17 minutes and a Door-to-Balloon time of 70 minutes, the team has set a high standard for efficiency and excellence.

A special commendation goes to Nick Lindsey, the primary nurse, and Haley Williams for their critical roles in this success. We also extend our sincere appreciation to UMR for their outstanding teamwork and rapid response—transporting the patient to SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in just 16 minutes!

This achievement reflects the power of collaboration, precision, and dedication to patient care. Congratulations to all involved!
