THON™ Weekend is almost here!

At Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital, Four Diamonds kids celebrated in anticipation of the big weekend with their own Penn State THON inspired spirit week — rainbow crafts, superhero capes and big smiles — reminding us why we THON: For The Kids®.

These spirit week celebrations — made possible through Child Life and the comprehensive support Four Diamonds provides — are a reminder of why we THON.

As the big weekend approaches, we invite you to be part of the joy and the impact.

Your gift supports children and families today and fuels research for tomorrow.

Suzanne Graney, Executive Director of Four Diamonds, recently joined the Help and Hope Happen Here podcast to talk about what it truly means to support families facing childhood cancer.

Suzanne shared how Four Diamonds ensures no family receives a medical bill for care not covered by insurance at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital and highlighted the power of our long-standing partnership with Penn State THON. Together, these efforts help improve care, advance research and provide critical support to families when they need it most. 💙

Not every Four Diamonds child or teen can be in the Bryce Jordan Center during THON Weekend, but this year, their creativity is. Through a special partnership between THON and Four Diamonds Art Therapy at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital, patients designed stickers inspired by what gives them strength, comfort and joy. Each design carries a meaningful message straight from the kids who inspire it all.

These stickers are more than art. They are a way for patients to be part of THON Weekend and a reminder of why dancers keep going, all For The Kids®.

Our blog shares more about the stories behind the stickers and the patients who created them. Stickers are available during THON Weekend, February 20–22.

Harlan is a joyful two-year-old who loves reading, dancing to music and spending time with his parents, Kelsey and Dylan.

When Harlan was just five months old, he was diagnosed with ATRT, a rare and aggressive brain cancer. What followed were months of inpatient care, surgery, chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. After a relapse in 2025, Harlan continues treatment with strength and resilience.

While this journey is far from what they imagined, Kelsey and Dylan focus on the moments that matter most: snuggles, smiles and the joy Harlan brings to everyone around him.

Four Diamonds supports Harlan and his family by covering cancer-related medical expenses not paid by insurance and providing services like child life and music therapy to make hard days a little easier.
