Shelly’s world changed at just eight years old when she was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. Through treatment, amputation and recovery, she found strength in her care team, family and the small joys that kept her going. 💛

Today, she embraces her differences and is studying exercise science with hopes of becoming a physical therapist — inspired by those who helped her heal.

Her story is a powerful reminder that adversity can shape incredible purpose.

A powerful step forward in childhood cancer research 🧬

Penn State Health Children's Hospital, the Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium and Aminex Therapeutics are launching a new national study to test a promising treatment for kids and young adults facing hard-to-treat cancers.

With support from Four Diamonds, research, genetic testing, clinical trials and patient care all work together to help new discoveries reach kids faster. This means treatments created specifically for children instead of ones adapted from adult care.
