We provide yoga and massage services that encourage you to slow down, take a deep breath and tune in. Free Spirit Yoga opened in September of 2002. Our first studio was in a small store front in the center of downtown Hershey - the first free standing yoga studio in Hershey. We have grown and evolved since then and have been at our current location one block off of Chocolate Avenue in the East end of Hershey since 2009. We are a down-to-earth, low key Wellness Center nestled in a quiet neighborhood and the people who come to our studio have called us a "hidden gem". We specialize in making yoga and massage accessible to everyone and provide services that encourage you to slow down, take a deep breath and tune in. In the practice of yoga every teacher has their own style. We have an eclectic teaching approach with an emphasis on personal alignment, and long, deep stretches with a focus on breathing. For us, "slow is the new fast" and our intention is to provide a yoga practice that allows you to feel better. One that helps your body to be strong, yet relaxed; your mind to slow down and focus; and your emotions to be in balance. The hallmark of our yoga classes is that we offer many options, alternatives and variations which allows everyone to have their own practice. The overall intention of our Wellness Center is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can feel free to be who you are and experience all the benefits that massage and yoga have to offer.
