WHAT BRAND OF IMPLANTS IS BETTER?

I’m just gonna explain the two different cylinders of the two available companies and why I prefer the Boston Scientific over the Coloplast. 👨‍⚕️

This is the Coloplast implant that we just removed on this patient. As you can tell how flat the cylinder is, and when it’s folded, you have this, what we call a dog ear that causes a lot of discomfort and pain in the patients. ⚠️

The Boston Scientific is more round and it’s much, much softer. ✅

So not only does it make your p***s flat and abnormal when it’s deflated, it looks a lot more natural. It’s cosmetically more pleasing. Physically doesn’t hurt because the cylinders are much, much softer. 🙌

And when they get full, obviously they both give a very similar er****on, but this is one of the main reasons why I like the Boston Scientific implant better. 👍

And also, you know, you can tell the InhibiZone, which is the antibiotic coating that prevents the infection that Coloplast doesn’t have it. 🦠

So this patient is going to go from a Coloplast to a Boston Scientific. He’s going to have a much better looking p***s, both flaccid and erect, and he’s going to have an excellent result. ✨

QUE IMPLANTES ES MEJOR?

Escogemos un cilindro sobre el lodo de las diferentes compañías, y por qué a mí me gusta usar el implante del Boston Scientific. 👨‍⚕️

Este es un implante que acabamos de sacar del paciente que no está funcionando.
Está muy roto.
Y este es el Coloplast.

Vea que es muy, muy plano el implante y es duro, el plástico es duro. ⚠️

Entonces, cuando el paciente está con el pene flácido, sin erección, el pene se ve deformado, se ve feo, y estos dobles le dan dolor al paciente.

Cuando están inflados son bastante equivalentes, pero cuando están flácidos es el problema.

El implante de Boston Scientific es mucho más suave, es más redondo, y eso no causa esos dobles y ese dolor al paciente. ✅

Entonces, con este implante ahora que le vamos a cambiar, su pene se va a ver mucho más natural, se va a ver mucho más bonito, no va a tener ese dolor que tenía el paciente con el implante flácido, y va a tener cosméticamente un implante mejor, y le va a funcionar perfectamente bien. 🙌

Por eso es una de las razones por las que usamos el implante de Boston y dos del Coloplast.

Y la otra razón es que este amarillo es cubierto de antibiótico que se llama Inhibitum, y obviamente el implante del Coloplast no lo tiene. 💛

IMPLANTE MALEABLE VS. INFLABLE

Hay dos tipos de dispositivos que usamos normalmente: el maleable y el inflable. 👨‍⚕️

A esto lo llamamos un implante maleable.

Es semi-rígido, así que se mantiene firme todo el tiempo. 📍

Cuando estás listo, simplemente lo colocas hacia arriba.

Cuando terminas, lo bajas.

No necesita bomba ni reservorio. ✅

Eso significa menos partes y por lo general un menor costo que el implante inflable. 💰

El implante inflable, en cambio, se mantiene suave cuando no se usa.

Se activa solo cuando tú lo deseas. 👍

Ambas opciones funcionan muy bien. 🙌

El implante maleable puede ser una excelente opción para personas con artritis o para quienes prefieren una alternativa más simple, sin bombeo.

Como todo tratamiento, cada opción tiene sus ventajas y desventajas. ⚖️

Por eso la mejor elección siempre es personal.

REAL CASE OPTILUME BALLOON DILATION

In the office, he’s a young guy, 43 years old. He had a procedure called an optilume balloon dilation, which we use for when you develop scar tissue in your urethra and your kidney. It’s a minimally invasive procedure, and I wanted to just show you guys the results. 👨‍⚕️

Basically, the patient says that the procedure was basically life-changing. 🙌

So we used something called a uroflow, and before he came in, he basically p*ed this. He basically was unable to p*e. 🚻

And then I’m gonna show you the results after the procedure. ✨

And as you can see, when he voids, he’s got an amazing stream, and this is basically gone from not able to p*e at all to being able to p*e 100% normally. 💯

The patient is super happy, and it’s a very good option for people that have scar tissue in the urethra because of infections or because of having certain procedures done. 👍

So just keep that in mind, and if you ever have this problem, talk to your urologist about the potential for an up-to-lumballoon dilatation. 📍

CASO REAL: OPTILUME BALLOON PARA PROBLEMA DE ESTRECHEZ EN LA URETRA.

Acabo de ver a un paciente en la consulta que tiene 43 años, que ha tenido un problema de estrechez en la uretra, que es una cicatriz que se forma en la uretra y el choro sale muy, muy lento. 🚻

El paciente ahora dice que ha tenido un cambio drástico en la vida, le ha cambiado la vida totalmente, se la ha mejorado. ✨

Es un procedimiento de mínimo acceso que se pone un catéter con un globito que abre la estrechez y deja una medicina para que la estrechez no vuelva y quería compartir los resultados con ustedes para que lo vean en una manera objetivamente. 📈

Nosotros medimos el choro de la o***a con un procedimiento que se llama el Euroflow y acá pueden ver el Euroflow del paciente antes del procedimiento y él prácticamente no o***aba. 📊

Está totalmente flat y es sumamente anormal y ahora le voy a mostrar el resultado después del procedimiento.

Pueden ver que el choro le ha normalizado y está básicamente normal. ✅

There are 2 types of devices we ussually use malleable and inflatable
That’s what we call a malleable implant.

It’s semi-rigid, so it stays firm all the time.
When you’re ready, you simply position it up.
When you’re done, you position it down.
