Catholic Hospice is a community-based not-for-profit program serving the South Florida community since 1988. Catholic Hospice provides responsive end-of-life care for patients of all ages and faiths, and assists families in caring for a loved one with reverence and dignity at the most vulnerable time in life’s journey. Our patients, residents and those who use our services are our first responsibility. We provide our services with love, skill, compassion and respect for all human dignity - regardless of race, creed or religious affiliation.

✨ Grateful to celebrate another dedication of Bloom Supportive Care, this time at St. John’s Nursing Center in Lauderdale Lakes!

The Bloom team has already supported 50+ palliative patients at St. Anne's Nursing Center and now, St. John's Nursing Center, bringing compassionate, holistic care to our community. 💜

The ceremony included a beautiful blessing, inspiring remarks from our CHS and Hospice and Palliative leaders, and a ribbon‑cutting with the Bloom team. We were also moved by heartfelt patient stories shared during the event.

We were also honored to welcome leaders and community partners from TMC, Optum Health, Holy Cross Health, and more.

We are seeking a ✨RISK MANAGER✨ who will be responsible for coordinating, directing and implementing the risk management program at Catholic Hospice. The Risk Manager will also identify and evaluate risks to reduce injuries to patients, staff, and visitors within an organization’s environment.

Candidates must have the following criteria:
✨ Licensed Registered Nurse to practice in the state of Florida with 2+ years of Risk Management experience required.

✨ Certification in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) required.
✨ Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
✨ Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and patient safety protocols.
✨ Knowledge of applicable State and Federal regulations.
