Citrus Health Network, Inc. is a Federally Qualified Health Center offering variety of mental and behavioral health and primary care services.

was founded in 1979 as a community mental health center dedicated to serving mentally ill individuals and their families. Citrus continues to provide services to adults and children across the spectrum of mental and behavioral health needs, and is one of the largest mental and behavioral health providers in South Florida. In 2004, Citrus also became a Federally Qualified Health Center, expanding its services to include care for primary health in addition to behavioral health. Citrus takes a total wellness approach with each client, treating the body and mind. This approach to health care addresses the whole person by integrating behavioral health services and primary care and coordinating care across a broad range of health services and community-based programs.

Citrus Health Network is proud to partner with The Children’s Trust and Miami-Dade County Public Schools to expand HealthConnect in Our Schools, delivering comprehensive healthcare directly on campus.

Now reaching 283 schools, with Citrus serving 32 of them, this initiative provides students access to medical care, mental health services, screenings, telehealth, and more where they spend most of their day.

Citrus Health Network has earned Gold-level recognition from the American Heart Association and American Medical Association’s Target: BP™ initiative for achieving outstanding results in blood pressure control among our adult patients.

This national honor recognizes organizations that have successfully controlled high blood pressure in 70% or more of their patients living with hypertension.
