🍀🌈 St. Patrick’s Day decorating is officially underway at Maple Heights!

Our residents put their creativity to work making rainbows and lucky shamrocks to brighten up the halls. There were plenty of laughs, a little friendly competition over whose shamrock looked the luckiest, and lots of proud artists showing off their work.

If these decorations bring us even half as much luck as the fun we had making them, we’re in pretty good shape this St. Patrick’s Day! 💚🍀

✈️ Armchair Travels: Hawaii Edition! 🌺
This month, Maple Heights Residents journeyed to beautiful Hawaii — the only U.S. state made entirely of islands! We learned that aloha means hello, goodbye, and love, discovered that Hawaii is home to active volcanoes, and that sea turtles are symbols of good luck. 🌋🐢

To make the experience even sweeter, residents enjoyed fried SPAM (a true island favorite!) and a refreshing frozen pineapple whip 🍍. What a fun and tasty island escape!

Hiawatha Middle School students stopped by today for a FUN-filled game of Bingo! 🎉

We shared laughs, smiles, and great intergenerational moments.
Plus, just listen to our excitement as we yelled BINGO! 🙃

Pure and true puppy love at Maple Heights. 🐾💕

A huge thank you to Brown County Humane Society, Kansas for bringing the sweetest little visitors for snuggles and smiles. There is just something magical about tiny paws and warm cuddles — you could literally see the stress melt away and the joy light up every face.

What a beautiful Valentine’s celebration at Maple Heights!

Our halls were filled with love, laughter, sweet treats, and the kind of joy that only happens when a whole community shows up with open hands and even bigger hearts.

We are so incredibly thankful for: Sisters Together, Kays Club, Hiawatha High School Computer Class, Brown County Humane Society, Hiawatha FFA, St. Croix Hospice, and Main Street Flower Shoppe for showering our residents and staff with goodies and kindness! You made the day extra special in ways that truly matter. 🥰

And let’s hear it for our 2026 Valentine’s King & Queen… 👑 Keith and Judy! 👑
Watching them be crowned was the sweetest moment.

Because of our Valentine vote event, we raised $250+ for Maple Heights Activities — which means more fun, more memories, and more moments like this for our residents!
