For Account Executive Angela, helping veterans access the care they need at Aveanna isn’t just a job, it’s a personal mission.

Her son Grant joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard while still in high school. From cheering him on at his graduation from Basic Training to supporting him through deployments in the Middle East, Angela and her husband Steven have lived the strength and sacrifice of a military family.

"Grant’s military journey has filled me with so much pride," said Angela. "My experience as a military mom has inspired me to give back to other families of those who have served our country. Our veterans' remarkable resilience, adaptability, and selflessness provides us with an opportunity to show our thanks by providing exceptional care. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a progressive condition that restricts airflow in the lungs, leading to symptoms like coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and fatigue.
