With a deep sadness, I share the passing of my beloved teacher and mentor, John Barnes, P.T.

For nearly 30 years, I had the profound privilege of learning from him, studying alongside him, and simply being in his presence. John was more than a teacher—he was a true master. He deeply believed in our human potential and had a gentle, loving way of helping us find our path to wholeness, healing, joy and peace.

Through his work, I began listening to my intuition, moving through my own fears and restrictions, and reconnecting with the truth of who I am. His influence shaped and changed the trajectory my life, my thinking, how and why I practice as a Physical Therapist and the way I support others today through the authentic practice of John Barnes Myofascial Release.

His work continues to heal countless patients around the world—what an incredible legacy he leaves behind.
I will always remember his deep wisdom, his silence that spoke volumes, his lighthearted humor, and the spacious presence he brought into every seminar. I will miss him deeply… and yet, I feel he now lives more fully in my heart.
Thank you, John. You truly and authentically changed my life and the lives of many.
I love you John.
