This January, we’re inviting—and challenging—churches to link arms with us in faith, believing that when the Body of Christ moves together, God multiplies what we bring. We’re asking 100 churches to commit $100 a month, trusting that every dollar becomes a seed in the hands of a multiplying God.

By partnering with Safe Harbor, your church becomes part of a mission that helps women and children step into the lives God has planned for them—lives of safety, hope, restoration, and purpose. Your commitment isn’t just financial; it’s stepping in as His hands and feet, standing in the gap for families who need the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Let’s link arms this January and watch God multiply every gift, every act of generosity, and every seed of hope sown into the lives of women and children in our community.

Our Breaking Barriers campaign may be wrapping up as the year comes to an end, but the barriers themselves don’t disappear. Homelessness is real, and the struggles people (and their children) face don’t pause when the spotlight fades. At Safe Harbor, we remain committed to breaking these barriers every single day.

Visit https://givebutter.com/BeyondBarriers2025 to help ensure women and children in our community continue receiving the stability, support, and hope they deserve.

Dignity starts with recognition. It’s easy to look past our unhoused neighbors, but being 'seen' is a fundamental human need. Eye contact can be a gift. If you see someone on the street today, look them in the eye and smile. Acknowledge their presence.

Imagine trying to rebuild your life without reliable transportation. Buses run late, routes don’t reach shelters, and walking miles each day makes job searching and appointments almost impossible. Homelessness turns “getting there” into a daily barrier most of us never see.

You can help break down these barriers. Visit https://givebutter.com/BeyondBarriers2025 to support women and children working toward stability, hope, and independence.

Most of us never think twice about leaving our belongings at home. For someone experiencing homelessness, every possession must be carried or risk being lost or stolen—important documents, medications, clothing. This constant fear creates a major barrier to moving forward.

If you’d like to help support the women and children we serve at Safe Harbor, visit https://givebutter.com/BeyondBarriers2025 and be part of removing barriers and restoring stability in the lives of of those who need it most.

Homelessness disrupts the simple routines many of us take for granted—consistent sleep, reliable transportation, and a safe place to rest. When every day becomes a question of where to go or how to get there, working toward long-term goals becomes incredibly difficult.

Stability isn’t just helpful — it’s the foundation for growth, healing, and independence.

If you’d like to be part of giving women and children in our community the stability they need to move forward into the life that God has planned for them, visit https://givebutter.com/BeyondBarriers2025.

These two ladies are now in transitional living and spending their weekends at the GreenLeaf Transitional Apartments.

Since no apartments were available when they became eligible, they shared a two-bedroom on weekends until a one-bedroom opened up. And the best news? After the holidays, they’ll each have their own place!

Having housing and case management during this transition creates one less barrier toward independence, allowing the ladies in our programs to focus on their goals, begin saving for life after programming, and gain the tools they need to prepare for far beyond their time with us.

We now have four ladies from the Whole Woman program thriving in transitional living at GreenLeaf on the weekends!
