Brian S Hissom & Associates, PLLC provides professional counseling and psychological services to help children, adults and families with emotional, behavioral, academic, medical and relationship problems. Our philosophy is to provide quality, effective, confidential evaluation and counseling services to our clients while maintaining excellent relationships with physicians and other professionals w

ho may also be working with our clients. Our clinicians provide counseling for children, adults, families and couples, psychological and psycho-educational evaluations for children and adults, and training and consulting for business, industrial, health care and educational institutions in the Unifour area and Lincoln County, North Carolina. Hissom & Associates, PLLC, you will talk with Ms. She will "walk" you through the entire process of setting up an initial consultation, help you with questions you may have about your insurance coverage, the appropriate authorizations and referrals, determining your co-payment, and billing your insurance company. Amelia has been our Office Manager since we opened in 2006 and has extensive experience in dealing with insurance companies. Her office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm. "Hi, I am Caitlin. I am a therapist with Brian Hissom and Associates / Lifeworks. I work between two outpatient mental health clinics located in Hickory and Morganton in North Carolina. I love providing support for folks who are struggling and need someone to walk alongside them.

I am a creative person, dabbling in a little bit of all kinds of hobbies. I quilt, sew, play banjo, play with my dog, and enjoy spending time walking in the community.

LifeWorks / Brian S Hissom & Associates, PLLC is seeking talented, passionate clinicians to join us as we radically improve behavioral health access and outcomes using the collaborative care management approach in medical clinics in western North Carolina.

You will be working as a member of an integrated team of medical professionals including primary care providers, nurses, medical office professionals, support staff, and a consulting psychiatrist to provide innovative mental health and medical care for patients across the spectrum of needs making a deeper impact than possible in traditional out-patient mental health clinics.

We provide opportunities for creative professional growth, collaboration in an interdisciplinary team, and the opportunity for a blended schedule in medical clinics and traditional out-patient counseling settings if desired.
