We’re thrilled to announce that NESS Cares will be walking (and running!) together at the Long Island Empower Walk & 5K Run on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Jones Beach – Field 5, Wantagh, NY 🏖️

Our Background

NESS began in October of 2018. After working as an independent contractor for several agencies, we have had the opportunity to work closely with parents in their homes providing services like parent training in addition to working closely with school administrators. Through that experiences we understood the needs of parents and we are able to highlight where the lack of understanding is between school and home. Unfortunately, many of our contracts were through the School District and our obligation to them did not allow us to represent the views of parents the way we saw fit. NESS was created to increase parents awareness to their essential roles in their child's educational process and build the capacity of educators to meet the needs of students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
