PEMF leg wrapβ¦
On my own surgical site.
Shoutout to Respond Animal Therapeutics Respond Systems Equine for making products that are truly multi-use, because rehab doesnβt just happen in a barn, it happens on the couch, too.
Hereβs whatβs happening ππΌ
βοΈ PEMF leg wraps pe*****te up to 8 inches
βοΈ Encourages healthy blood flow & circulation
βοΈ Supports proper tissue healing
βοΈ Helps prevent adhesions from forming again
βοΈ Calms the nervous system so the body can actually let go
And hereβs the wild part.
When I first put it on, I started lower on my legs.
As I slowly moved it closer to my core, my muscles started twitching.
Not painful.
Not scary.
Just communication.
Thatβs how I knew it was working.
Now?
I can literally feel and hear my belly releasing and relaxing the same way I feel it under my hands when I work on horses with acute injuries.
This is why I use PEMF on horses early in rehab.
Because acute injuries isnβt just about pain.
Itβs about:
β’ guarding
β’ holding
β’ shutting down
β’ altered movement patterns
β’ the nervous system staying stuck in protection mode
PEMF helps the body feel safe enough to release.
And once the body releases?
Healing can actually happen not just scar tissue.
Feeling this in my own body has made me even more intentional about how, when, and why I use it in horses.
Rehab isnβt passive.
Healing isnβt silent.
And good tools should support both the tissue AND the nervous system.
If youβve ever wondered why PEMF is part of my rehab programsβ¦
This is it.
Same body.
Same principles.
Same respect for healing. π€π
