From our families to yours, we'd like to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving!
And a special thank you to all of our families and staff that brought sides and desserts. Thank you to Wings Over Texas Hospice for desserts and assistance with serving our residents and families.

Today a few of our veteran residents were honored at the Hico High school. We want to thank the school for having them. Today we pause to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our nation have safeguarded the freedoms and values we hold dear.

At Hico Nursing and Rehab. we are deeply honored to have veterans among our residents, and community. We recognize not only their service in times of conflict but also the strength, dignity, and leadership they continue to show in everyday life.

On this Veterans Day, and every day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have worn the uniform of our country. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your service, your courage, and your enduring example of patriotism.

Wednesday we had our annual fall festival! Hot dogs, good friends, an amazing community, and some games makes for a good time! We'd like to thank everyone who donated their time and goodies to help us make this possible! Wings Over Texas Hospice made the got dogs! Hico Popcorn Works made popcorn! Pathway Internet made us some cotton candy! Thank you to Lowe's Grocery Store for donating waters, Hico Building Center for letting us use one of their water troughs, and the Hico Community Center and the Hico Volunteer Fire Department for letting us borrow their tables and chairs! And thank you to everyone who donated the goodies for the cake walk! We had such a great time! Can't wait to see everyone at our next event!

Reminder: Our Grandparents Day Event is this Sunday! We will be playing bingo, enjoying some snacks, and spending time with our loved ones! There will also be a photo booth set up to get that perfect picture with your family! We are excited and can't wait. Hope to see everyone here!

September 7th is Grandparents Day! If you have a family member with us, come by for some bingo, snacks, and a chance to catch some sweet memories with your loved one!
