This Black History Month, we’re intentionally creating space to honor and uplift the voices, contributions, and excellence of our Black clinicians—not just this month, but all year long. This series is part of our ongoing commitment to recognizing the impact our Black and minority employees have on our clients, our communities, and the field of mental health.
Today, we’re proud to spotlight Shanice ✨
Shanice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients in person in Goldsboro, NC, and via telehealth throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. She holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Fayetteville State University and brings a deeply compassionate, trauma-informed approach to her work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, and major life transitions.
Shanice is known for creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. She draws from evidence-based modalities including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and trauma-focused care to help clients build resilience, increase self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change.
In addition to her clinical work, Shanice is a Qualified Clinical Supervisor and provides supervision for LCSW-A clinicians and Master’s-level interns—investing not only in her clients, but in the next generation of social workers.
We’re grateful for the care, leadership, and dedication Shanice brings to our team and the communities she serves. 🤍
