Snow days hit different when you’re not used to getting them! ❄️😜🏂

Some of us built snow angels, some of us walked dogs in sweaters, and some of us absolutely did not leave the couch.

How have you been spending the snow days?! ☃️

Incoming call from: your healing era 📱😘

Therapy isn’t just for when everything is falling apart.
It’s for when you’re tired of carrying it all alone.
When your mind won’t slow down.
When you keep saying “I’m fine” but don’t really mean it.

You don’t have to have the perfect reason to start.
You just have to be human.

Answering this call could mean:
✨ Feeling less alone
✨ Understanding yourself better
✨ Learning how to cope instead of just survive
✨ Finally having space that’s just for you

No pressure. No judgment. Just support.
You can hit “accept” when you’re ready 🤍

Observing the thought.
Not obeying the thought.

Growth. 😘

Letting go isn’t giving up.
It’s trusting that what’s next needs room to arrive.

Growth asks for space. 🌊✨🤍

What’s the difference between self-care and avoidance?

Self-care helps you come back to yourself.
Avoidance helps you run away from yourself.

Self-care might look like rest, boundaries, or taking a break so you have the capacity to return to the thing that’s hard.

Avoidance usually looks like numbing, over-scrolling, staying busy, or ghosting your feelings so you don’t have to feel them at all.

And just to be clear—sometimes we all avoid. That doesn’t make you broken.
The difference is intention and what happens after.

✨ Does this help me regulate and reconnect?
✨ Or does it help me disappear for a bit longer?

Both are human. Awareness is where the shift starts.

My brain: buffering…
My nervous system: 🚨
My coping skills: suddenly unavailable

Turns out naming feelings is harder than it looks.
Growth is rude like that.

On MLK Day, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s reminder that progress doesn’t have to be perfect or fast— it just has to keep moving forward.

However you’re moving today, it counts. 🤍

As therapists, here’s a gentle (but honest) hot take:

A lot of what people call “personal failure” is actually a nervous system doing its best to survive.

Anxiety isn’t weakness.
Burnout isn’t laziness.
Overthinking isn’t brokenness.

These are patterns that formed for a reason—and they make sense in context.

Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are.

It’s about understanding yourself with more compassion and learning new ways to respond.

If any of these landed, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to carry it by yourself.

Save this for later or share with someone who needs the reminder.
