Join us in recognizing Tonya Thornton from Patient Access at MedCenter High Point for going above and beyond with compassion and quick action. 💙

In March, Tonya noticed a security guard who didn’t seem like themselves. Trusting her instincts, she acted quickly and alerted the team, helping ensure they received immediate care during a medical emergency. Her attentiveness made a real difference.

Tonya shares:
“I’m always happy to help wherever I can, and I’m grateful I was in a position to assist when it was needed. I appreciate you taking the time to recognize that moment.”

A little more about Tonya…
She has a deep passion for helping others both at work and in the community. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Building Broken Blocks Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls through life skills, leadership, and personal development.

Outside of her role at MedCenter High Point, Tonya is also a published author, poet, motivational speaker, and the creator of Bles Sensation, a natural personal care line.

I arrived for my appointment… they called me back within five minutes of arrival. Vanessa was my technician. She did an amazing job! She was friendly, caring and thorough. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I have been using this facility for many years…always a highly satisfactory experience! ❤️”
