🌟 Employee Spotlight: Jennifer Mayhall 🌟

We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Jennifer Mayhall, a dedicated member of our Emergency Department Team at MedCenter High Point! 💚

Jennifer’s impressive academic background includes a B.S. in Microbiology with a Chemistry Minor from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her drive for excellence led her to transition from a successful career in Chemistry and Project Management, where she managed technical teams and earned her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, into a rewarding career in Nursing.

She went on to earn her BSN from UNC Greensboro, marking a pivotal shift toward healthcare leadership. From 2011–2017, Jennifer held several roles within Cone Health’s Intensive Care and Emergency Services. From 2016–2022, she worked as a Case Manager for UnitedHealthcare, and in 2023, she stepped into an Assistant Nurse Manager role with Novant Health.

In 2024, Jennifer made her return to Cone Health, joining the Emergency Department at MedCenter High Point—and she’s already making an incredible impact! She currently serves as the Department Champion for Sepsis and is known for her exceptional triage skills, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient care.

💬 Get to Know Jennifer:

“Outside of my work history, I’m active in my community and serve on two volunteer boards. I’m also a member of Rotary International and help with several outreach projects, including serving meals to the homeless.

For fun, I enjoy movies, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I have two grown children—one lives in Paris, France, and the other is very active in foster care and lives in Arizona.”
