“Love MedCenter High Point Imaging! It was time for my annual mammogram so I called and they had appointments available the following day. I arrived for my appointment… they called me back within five minutes of arrival. Vanessa was my technician. She did an amazing job! She was friendly, caring and thorough. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I have been using this facility for many years…always a highly satisfactory experience! ❤️”

🐾 A quick reminder that our pet supply drive at MedCenter High Point runs through March 31!

We’re collecting donations throughout March to support our local rescue partners, the SPCA of the Triad and Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network .

Donation tubs are located in the main lobby at MedCenter High Point, and every item helps provide care and comfort for animals in need.

Most needed items right now include:

For Red Dog Farm
• Dry puppy food (small breed)
• Kitten food, wet and dry
• Paper bedding for small animals
• Senior horse feed
• Chew toys for small animals such as bunnies and guinea pigs
• Oxbow rabbit food
• Oxbow guinea pig food
• Pine shavings for farm animals

For the SPCA of the Triad
• Canned puppy food and adult dog food
• Toilet paper
• Paper towels
• Hand soap
• Dish soap
• Bleach
• Large trash bags
• Sponges
• Scoopable cat litter
• Canned wet dog and puppy food

✨ Going Above and Beyond ✨

We are proud to recognize Aimee Dean from Cone Health Urology at MedCenter High Point for truly going above and beyond.

After just three months with the team, Aimee received a call from a patient who wanted to personally share how amazing she is at her job and how positive his experience was. She is known for always having a smile on her face and showing genuine kindness to every patient she serves. She has already become a wonderful addition to the practice.

Outside of work, Aimee loves animals, hiking and traveling with her dog Betty White, exploring antique shops, refinishing old pieces, and attending concerts.

“I brought my dad in for knee injections and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel at ease throughout our visit.”

While we do care for athletes, Sports Medicine at MedCenter High Point is about much more than sports. Our team treats muscle sprains and strains, overuse injuries, joint pain, and other musculoskeletal conditions for patients of all ages. You do not have to be involved in sports to benefit from Sports Medicine care.

Shoutout to the Sports Medicine team at Cone Health MedCenter High Point for providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping families feel comfortable and supported every step of the way 👏

This month, we are proud to spotlight Mary Ann Cherry, one of our incredible volunteers at MedCenter High Point!

Since July 2024, Mary has volunteered weekly at our front desk, greeting patients and helping them find their way. After retiring in 2022, she chose to give back to her community and found a home here at MedCenter High Point. She often shares that it is truly a blessing to serve alongside the wonderful staff and families she has come to know.

Mary makes a meaningful difference for both our team and our patients. Her attentiveness, compassion, and warm presence help everyone feel comfortable and welcomed the moment they walk through our doors.
