Celebrating the 7th work anniversary of Funeral Director, Mike Stewart today! Mike joined us on this day in 2019, coming to us following his service to families in Madison, NC. He became a licensed funeral director in 1977 and began his service in Walnut Cove. Mike is married to Alena, and they have three children and four grandchildren.

Spotlighting Lisa Carter today! A native of Randolph County, Lisa resides in Sophia with her husband, Keith. They have one daughter, Kelly (husband, Adam); five grandchildren, Landon, Colby Grace, Lane, Logan and Maxton; and a beloved golden retriever, Sophie.

Lisa is a member of the Archdale-Trinity Rotary Club and is active with the Archdale-Trinity Chamber of Commerce. She attends Grace Church in High Point. She has been with us since 1990 and is Administration Manager at both the High Point and Archdale locations.

For anyone thinking about cremation: The cremains can be interred in a cemetery plot, i.e., earth burial, retained by a family member, usually in an urn, scattered on private property, or at a place that was significant to the deceased. It would always be advisable to check for local regulations regarding scattering in a public place, and our funeral directors can help you with this.
