The weather for this weekend’s CROP walk fighting food insecurity throughout Guilford County was absolutely perfect☀️

Nearly 14 percent of households in our county struggle with hunger.

The BEST part for me was my kiddos walked with us, teaching them early that SERVICE is L💙VE in ACTION🙏🏽

Members of the High Point Branch NAACP walked to raise awareness for families facing food insecurity in Guilford County and High Point Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. also had a team in collaboration with BKK of Omega Psi Phi 💜

Yesterday was a moment we will not forget.

We stood in silence…
for the women who didn’t have to die.
for the babies who didn’t have to die.

Our silent march.
Our human chain.
Our unity spoke louder than words.

Thank you to the Black Pearls Society, Incorporated for leading with courage and calling our community to stand.

This is not the end. This is the beginning of the shift.

We will Continue to Demand Birth Justice.

Health equity is at the heart of everything we do at TCC Community Health Foundation Through our grant-funded "Movement is Medicine" program, we came together this month to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and early detection, empowering our community through education, movement, and connection

Check out this inspiring community impact recap by 121 Media Group capturing a celebration of strength, knowledge, and collective care.

Every dollar raised supports mammogram stipends for women in need. As Breast Cancer Awareness month comes to a close, lets keep the awareness and commitment to changing the narrative and racial equities for our community. Together we empower. Together we LIFT FOR LIFE!

Do You Believe Movement is Medicine?!

At TCC Community Health Foundation one of our programmatic pillars: Movement Is Medicine is rooted in advancing health equity by helping communities avoid sedentary lifestyles through movement.

Why?
because staying active isn't just about fitness, it's about preventing chronic disease, improving quality of life, and ensuring every community has access to the tools that support long-term wellness.

75 Lives. One Community. One Purpose

September was Sickle Cell Awareness Month and TCC showed up in a MIGHTY way. In partnership with the Carl Chavis YMCA, we hosted a community blood drive that resulted in 75 lives saved.

It was a day of community, connection, and impact..all proof that when we come together, we can truly change lives.

Endless gratitude to every donor and advocate who stood with us. This isn’t just a moment, it’s a movement. Together, .
