Providence Place

Providence Place Providence Place is a faith-based, nonprofit retirement community in High Point, NC, that's been serving seniors since the early 1970s.

We offer independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory support. Providence Place has dedicated itself to senior healthcare and housing in High Point and the Triad. We have grown to include a large campus on Westchester Drive, home to our Independent Living (Westchester Village), Assisted Living (The Harbour) and Skilled Nursing (Westchester Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center) facilities, as well as the Providence Place Administrative offices. Our outreach stretches beyond High Point and into the community at large because ministering to the health and well-being of our elder population has no geographical bias.

We were thrilled to welcome the Liberty Charter Academy Chorus for a special performance that brought smiles all around.

Sixteen talented kids shared their voices with us, and 52 residents joined in to enjoy the beautiful music.

These photos capture some of our wonderful family members who love sharing their musical talents with us. 🎹 Anna, pictured at the piano, also had the honor of presenting a Quilt of Valor to one of our residents, David Carner.

David proudly served 30 years in the U.S. Air Force as an air traffic controller. The Quilts of Valor Foundation recognizes the service and sacrifice of veterans by awarding them a handmade quilt—a symbol of comfort, healing, and heartfelt thanks.

A Quilt of Valor® is more than just a quilt; it’s a message that says:
“Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.”

We are so grateful to David and all who have served. 💙

✨ A Blue Christmas to Remember at Westchester Village! ✨

Last night, we rocked around the Christmas tree with none other than Elvis himself! From a “Love Me Tender” roasted turkey to a decadent Viva Las Vegas pie (peanut butter, chocolate, banana, and toffee bits—oh my!), every detail was pure perfection.

Elvis had us laughing, singing, and dancing to a mix of his greatest hits and holiday classics from his famous Christmas album. 🎶

A huge shoutout to our amazing dining team for the incredible meal and to our wonderful volunteers who made the evening extra special.
