We were treated to something truly special last week when the Montreat College Choir stopped by for a beautiful performance. 🎶 Their voices filled our community with music, creating a memorable afternoon for our residents. The choir’s talent and heartfelt delivery brought smiles, happy tears, and even a little toe‑tapping along the way. We are so grateful they shared the gift of music with us!

Intergenerational moments like these make our community so special. 💐 We loved welcoming Westchester Country School Day students for an afternoon of crafting paper flower bouquets, coloring, and puzzles with our residents in assisted living.

Earlier this week, we were grateful to welcome the Alzheimer’s Association for an informative and meaningful presentation on understanding Alzheimer’s and dementia. 💙

About 20 residents attended, and the discussion sparked thoughtful questions and valuable conversation. We appreciate the opportunity to learn more, build awareness, and support one another through education and understanding.

We look forward to their next visit where they will discuss the how a Mediterranean Diet can lower risk of developing Alzheimer's disease.

To make this project possible, the troop is seeking material donations, including wood, gardening tools, plants and flowers, soil, bird baths and feeders, and bench-building materials.

Every donation helps teach leadership, teamwork, and service—while leaving a lasting mark on our community.
