On behalf of the Blair family: Best said from a family friend “Often when people pass away from cancer, we hear the phrase “so and so lost the battle”, well I don’t accept that, Nathan won the battle. He fought for 4 years for extra time with his family and friends, he inspired people, he encouraged, he made people laugh, he cared for others, and he did it while battling this awful disease. We often don’t understand God’s plan, and in this world there is suffering, but there will be a day when the suffering is gone. Until that day comes, I pray all those who knew Nate find comfort. Please keep Anna and Asa and the entire family in your prayers..”

Anna and Asa have been home for a couple of weeks with Nathan, running to work when they can, but by Nathan’s side daily every minute. Any assistance given will help them pick the pieces up again. Thank you for all of the overwhelming support coming in and out over the last week. The food, visitors all of it has meant the world to the family. We all know and love the Blair’s!

The last few months have been very hard. Nathan is such a fighter and continues to fight. He has gone through so much over the last almost 4 years, but lately he is getting weaker and having a harder time with what is going on. we are asking for lots of prayers for him. we’ve seen the power of prayer before throughout this whole journey and asking for extra right now! Thank you all for your continued support for our sweet Nathan!

Corn Hole Tourney! ❤️💛🎗️

Some of you may know that one of the Joshs Place crew is “beating” cancer. At the moment he is back in the hospital but hoping to be home this week! We want to have a co****le tourney as a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the family! We are looking for sponsors, food, and of course folks to come out and play on Thursday 6/27/24. Donations will be accepted that evening.

We would like to thank everyone for the support and donations to the Blair family vacation! The cruise has been booked!They will set sail to the Bahamas on a family trip organized by Jennifer Kelly & Laura Graetz! These memories are priceless and you all made it happen!!!

Laura Peck Graetz and Jennifer Kelly have put their heads together. If anyone deserves a vacation, it’s the Blair family. Nate is fighting a tough battle with osteosarcoma and remains focused to beat it. But the truth is he and his family need a chance to just sit back, relax and regroup. We would like to send Nate, Anna Blair, Asa Blair, Drayden & Callie on a family trip. We are working with the family to plan the destination of their choice. MRI Update: we have not talked to the drs yet, but based on the report I can read in “my chart” I think it looks good as radiologist did not see reoccurance. It did show the fluid but as some may know his tumors now appear as fluid so as we have a huge relief that report says it is good we think the drs may want to do biopsy to be certain. However, we are so thankful to have this report say it is good!
The problem with this cancer is there are so few patients that get it a year so really not that much studies compared to other cancers.. but on top of his rare cancer only 3% of patients have his type of osteosarcoma… so we continue to pray that they find a cure and for complete healing for Nathan.
We continue to try and find our own answers and paths to take to cure him, but trials on this cancer are far and few between and his age kicks him out of most…

Again we thank you all for the continued prayers for Nathan.
We will update when we talk to the drs and see what they say!

Thank you all that continue to message to check in on Nate and pray for him. We have t updated in a while and very sorry for that.
Update is: he completed radiation about a month ago. Unfortunately a few new spots have come up so he has an MRI today to have them checked. Thank you for the continued prayers and support for Nate! He is strong but this is a hard fight for sure.
