"Providing an opportunity for healing, support, and growth while assisting individuals and families in the healing process is our passion. I often find that in life, adversity can knock us for unexpected bumps in our journey; however with each bump, there is an opportunity! This concept can be hard to see while in the midst of pain. Our team is trained to walk along this path with you and assist you to a place of healing and wellness. It is important to us that you leave therapy having found a higher level of understanding, an inner peace, a fresh perspective, and hope in your heart! We offer a variety of approaches and skills to provide individual, couples, families, and community groups the tools to be successful navigating through tough social, familial, and personal challenges. We offer consulting for teams & community groups by doing professional development on leadership styles and methods. We also offer faith based Counseling and training for teams. Karen Sullins has been trained in Crisis Management, Disaster Response, and Mass Casualty incidents. Our team provides counseling and consulting services in our schools and communities to include: individual therapy, family therapy, assessments and psychological eval uations, and EAP (employee assistance). We are also certifiedin Mental Health First Aid, Peer Support, Spiritual Counseling, Couples counseling, and assist in IEPs. Karen is the regional Mental Health Coordinator for Alabama Law Enforcement Alliance for Peer Support (ALEAPS) Region D and Project Respite for front line workers and thier families at (https://www.truereloveution.com/project-respite). Karen presents trainings for First Responders and Healthcare professionals; collaborating with Ambulance compamies in Alabama as a Crisis Intervention and Mental Health Coordinator. Karen is also a volunteer with the Red Cross as a Liscensed Disaster Mental Health Provider specializing in disaster services, crisis intervention, and spiritual care. She Volunteers as an Advocate with Trafficking Hope, a ministry of hope and healing for victims that have been sexually exploited and trafficked.
