Join us Sunday, November 20th at 11am at the Drop-In Center for our Transgender Day of Remembrance gathering. We will be honoring those we’ve lost, uplifting and empowering those who are still with us and building community as we discuss our future. We will also offer trans and nonbinary folks the opportunity to compete the U.S. Trans Survey for a prize. This survey allows for the voices and experiences of trans and nonbinary folks to be heard and used to combat negative policies. Come support and stand in solidarity with us.

This week BIPOC Beyond the Binary will be celebrating International Nonbinary Day by uplifting the history of our ancestors. Please join us on July 12th 6:00pm -8:00pm for the screening and group dialogue of the documentary “My Name is Pauli Murray” at the Kofi House 135 Hazelwood Street Highland Park, MI 48202. Murray was a Black transmasculine, gender nonconforming lawyer, activist, poet, and Episcopal priest that dedicated their life to breaking barriers and challenging the binary. Following their footsteps, the goal of our bi-weekly group is to build community and share supports.
