We are delighted to announce that Wade Thoren LMT, L.Ac. has joined our collective offering Acupuncture in combination with Bodywork (Tui Na).

Wade brings extensive experience and knowledge in acupuncture and bodywork, specializing in the treatment of chronic pain and optimizing mobility. He takes a holistic view of the body, asking the right questions about a person’s lifestyle, posture, and movement patterns to get a clear picture of the root causes of discomfort. His goal is to help improve mobility, strength, and reduce pain for long-term results.

Wade’s integrative approach includes various modalities, such as Tui Na, Swedish, Thai/deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, all tailored to the client’s present needs.

✨Our New Plant Medicine Classes with Rose of Becoming Medicine✨

We are delighted to have Rose return for more herbal medicine and wildcrafting classes in the garden at Golden Folk Wellness!

Rose is a seed sower, incense-maker, community herbalist and Registered Nurse.

She encourages people to engage with plants and mushrooms as medicine through practices such as wild gathering, gardening and medicine-making. Together let’s realize our healing capacities + cultivate belonging in reciprocity with earth.

Classes for our Herbal Foundations Series are Saturdays in May. Come meet the plants & cultivate your herbal medicine & healing resources! Join us for one workshop or take them all together for a strong foundation for working with plants as medicine in your own life

Each of our ancestors tended herbal knowledge, collaborating with plants as allies for health and healing. This medicine lives within each of us.

What does it look like to intentionally cultivate relationships with plants as foundational to our collective well-being? Let’s tend our connections with plants and place that can support our mutual thriving. 
This four-part herbal medicine foundations series is comprised of three in-person herbal medicine workshops in the garden at Golden Folk & one recorded class & independent field study!  
Join Rose in the garden for one workshop or the whole series. Taken together, these classes form a strong foundation for working with plants as medicine in your own life.
