More than ten years ago when I first examined this patient, she just a little girl and she was developing high myopia. There is a family history of high near-sightedness.
I SPOKE WITH HER MOM ABOUT USING SPECIALTY LENSES TO KEEP HER MYOPIA FROM PROGRESSING.
Her Mom agreed. This patient is a success story. Her myopia has not gotten worse and she has a lower risk of developing ocular health problems associated with myopia!
Here she is getting her vision check up before starting back to school. Time flies.🤓
