Toddler Thursdays!
The key is to be patient.
Remember, this is very common and can last for a while.
It's commonly mistaken as picky eating when it reality they're actually not that hungry. It can also be that their taste buds/preferences have changed. That's why it's important to offer a variety.
Remain consistent with your meals.
- Stick to your routine
- Offer what you want to offer
- Let them decide what and how to much to eat. No pressure.
Overtime your child will learn that the food will come at certain times with certain options and it's up to them to eat it or wait for the next meal.
Remind your self, some meals will go untouched. Some meals will cause tears to be shed, but this is just a phase and it will end.
That being said, if there are any concerns of underlying textural/swallow issues and/or weight loss concerns please talk to your pediatrician.
