And when they happen, most people feel like they have a built-in excuse to stop.
Vicki recently found herself in that exact spot.
She developed an injury that would give a lot of people every reason to say,
โMaybe I should just pause for a while.โ
But Vicki Kosydor is different.
Is it frustrating? Absolutely.
She loves to be challenged. She loves to test what her body can do.
As a grandmother who wants to stay active and capable, fitness isnโt just about workouts for her โ itโs about life.
So instead of stoppingโฆ she shifted.
Modified. Adjusted. Focused on what she can do.
A few years ago, this might have been the moment she spiraled into frustration.
Not anymore.
Now sheโs building something even stronger than muscle โ her mental strength.
And if weโre being honest?
Staying mentally strong is often harder than staying physically strong.
Thatโs why Vicki deserves this shout-out.
She values what fitness gives her โ physically, emotionally, and mentally โ and sheโs not willing to walk away from that just because the road got bumpy.
Vicki, thank you for continuing to show up for yourself โ especially when it would be easy not to.
Thatโs what long-term strength really looks like. ๐ช
