🐝 Making a Native Bee Nesting Box 🐝

With our friends at Hollow Tree Honey Foundation. It was a beeutiful day on The Kinlands farm. Building a native bee box is an easy way to give back to our winged friends.

Native bees deserve some serious buzz too being they’re actually 2 to 3 times better pollinators than our popular friends the honeybees. They love pollen! Native bees collect pollen to feed their nest while honeybees prefer nectar.

Did you know Utah here has over 900 species of native bees? There are over 4,000 in North America.

Teaching the future generation and current about Bees with a fun project like this is everything! I adore seeing this kind of thing go down in our community. 👏👏👏
