When is the best time to get a 3D/4D ultrasound done? 👇🏼

This all depends on what YOU want to see.

Early on (between 14-22 weeks) you’ll be able to see the baby as a whole.

At 26-32 weeks, you would see more detailed facial features. Keep in mind that between 28 and 32 weeks, your baby develops more fat and gets an even more defined face.

After 34 weeks, it becomes more and more difficult to get good pictures of the baby since they start to run out of room. However all babies are different and we have been successful in obtaining great images all the way up to 39 weeks!

Here’s one important tip to improve your ultrasound experience 👇🏼

💧 Increase your water intake a few days before your appointment — not just the day of.

We actually recommend our moms double their water intake for the entire week leading up to their ultrasound.

Why does this matter?
For 3D/4D ultrasounds, sound waves travel best through fluid. More fluid in front of baby’s face = clearer, higher-quality images 🤍
